When you build the Workshop, make sure you make it 6X6 tiles exactly. This produces the highest efficiency rating possible, once the walls are fortified and a door is placed to the Workshop's ONLY entrance (it should only have ONE entrance). Now a secret : Once you build a 6X6 workshop, lay down ONE more tile of workshop all by itself somewhere close to you dungeon entrance.

Why you ask? Because you need a minimum of 37 tiles of workshop to produce the strongest door, the magical door. 6 times 6 = 36 plus 1 = 37. When calculating the amount of Workshop you have, the game counts the total number of tiles. As an added bonus, sometimes the traps will be manufactured and appear on this lone tile, which speeds the time it takes for imps to carry the trap to your dungeon entrance.

You did remember to lay traps around your dungeon entrance, right?
