I discovered the first secret level this nite :)
To reveal it, you have to : reach Level 8, there in the middle to the absolute north is an iron door (the strongest door my minions invented so far), locked an protected by a permanent cave in. Breach the door and have enough monters with you, this 4 x 4 room killed about 2 dozen of my best monsters :) (fortunately after I had already finished off the enemy DK) with the "giant Indy rolling boulder" trap and a couple of lightning traps ;) -
If you enter the secret level (selected after finishing any Level from the main map) be sure to "transfer" one "creature" (special spell in DK) to the secret level, you'll need it there!
(Take one with good weapons & skills, Vampire or Dragon will do).
