On my version if you hit the ENTER key on the numeric keypad it pulls up what I call a Debugger Menu. It is actually a cheat mode- you can place a random, usually high level monster or hero ANYWHERE in the game. All monsters placed, after fighting, simply try to get back to your lairs to camp out. Make sure they have a way to reach your lair. Also, for 10,000 gold, you can destroy any enemy wall. To eliminate an enemy door, just use this option on the piece of wall the door is attached to, and have you imps mine that part of the wall once it is no longer stone. Without two walls, doors just disappear. To remove the menu that appears, hit the same ENTER key again.
