When given the opportunity to build a temple do so rapidly and sacrafice creatures to it. The best creatures to sacrafice are large amounts of minor creatures. At points in the game I have sacraficed three Flies for a Bile Demon or two to three Spiders for another Bile Demon eventually I had sacraficed all my minor creatures and had 10 Bile Demons at this point I began to sacrafice Imps and Money ( remember that when sacrificing Imps you may be throwing away a lot of money a good idea [if you have the resources] is to sacrafice all you have then produce one and sacrafice then another and sacrafice it, etc, etc, etc, thus saving you money by not having to pay for the "Imp surcharge factor" and gaining lots of cool goodies to pummel your enemies with and become the conqueror of your domain. )
